Five Indian baskets on display, ca.1900
Photograph of five unidentified Indian baskets on display, photographed ca.1900. They are displayed on two tiers covered with a cloth and displayed hanging from a blanket backdrop. There are four basic shapes -- flattened round bowl, platter, cone, and bee-hive. They have differing woven patterns which mostly include a stepped design. Four of them bear tags reading "Plumas", "Plumas Co.", "Big Meadow", "Pueblos[?]. Image 16.
