[edit]DescriptionFishway (51299475584).jpg |
The fishway that was built at the outlet of East Loring Lake in the Aroostook NWR has been settling nicely and the wild flowers sure make it look nice. The fishway was designed to allow for brook trout to move up and down the Butterfield Brook, which had been blocked by an old wooden crib dam since the Air Force built the lake.
