English: Photo depicts a Fire Restrictions sign in the Eldorado National Forest.
•The Eldorado National Forest is under Fire Restrictions. •Having a campfire or stove fire is only allowed in certain developed recreation sites. •The list of sites where fires are allowed is attached to the Fire Restriction order. •Smoking is only allowed inside a vehicle or building, one of the developed recreation sites listed or while stopped in an area (3 foot by 3 foot) that is cleared or barren of all flammable material. •Welding or operating an acetylene torch or any other open flame torch is not allowed. •If you possess a California Campfire permit (available online) you may use a portable campfire pit, stove or lantern that uses gas, kerosene, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel, with a shutoff, in an area cleared at least 3 feet by 3 feet. •If your device has an on/off switch it is allowed as long as you have a permit and you are using it in 3 foot by 3 foot cleared area.
