Fields and dry-stone wall

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fields and dry-stone wall. The part of the field on the near side of the wall was formerly covered by Black Wood; see 1747744.

The snow-covered range in the distance, in the right-hand side of the photo, is part of the Ochil Hills; the visible peaks include Ben Cleuch (NN9000), Craighorn, and Ben Ever. In the middle distance, the building that can be seen in front of the left-hand edge of those hills is the remains of Torwood Castle (NS8384).

The photograph was taken from the Denovan to Larbert footpath.
