| Description |
English: Ffaestiniog - Llyn Ystradau Between 1965 and 1978, the Ffestiniog Railway Deviation, a 2.5 miles (4 km) long diversionary route was constructed between Dduallt and Tanygrisiau in order to avoid the works of Tanygrisiau hydro-electric power station and its reservoir, Llyn Ystradau. The largely volunteer group building the Deviation was officially called the Civil Engineering Group, but its members were popularly known as the Deviationists. |
