Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The ceremonial hall of the Esterházy palace in Fertőd, Hungary. The representative great hall of the princely apartments on the second floor of the palace. Its ceiling fresco - painted by Joseph Ignatz Milldorfer, a pupil of Maulbertsch - forms an integral whole with the other decorations in the room, including the allegories of the seasons in the corners and the oil paintings of mythological themes that cover the walls.
