| Description |
English: Ferry Road, Wawne, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Wyndham Farm, abutting the river Hull. The building on the left was originally the Anchor public house, later the Windham Arms, the Windham family being the chief landowner in Wawne in the late 19th and early 20th century. The ferry across the river ceased operation in the 1940s. The pub closed in March 1967 and it is now used as a farmhouse. |
