Description
English: Fern Bank Dam. This wicket dam gave nine feet of water for twenty miles on the Ohio River at Cincinnati, Ohio. The dam was built in 1911, and later replaced by a permanent dam. A 600 by 110 foot lock, (then the standard on the river), facilitated transport.
