Description An old bus stop sign (1930s - early 1970s) of the public transport company ATAC of Rome, Italy, exposed to the rail museum of Porta San Paolo. Whereas the two lines depicted on the plaques did actually exist for several years in the past (from 1931 to 1959 as tram, and then until 1975 as bus), nonetheless such a stop is fictional because they, which were two circular lines, never crossed their paths nor had any stop in common; further they had two opposite directions: the line identified as "ES" (Esterna Sinistra, Leftward External Line) had a counterclockwise path, whereas the "CD" (Circolare Destra, Rightward Circular Line) had it clockwise.
