Description 172 149-7 speeds away from the camera towards Gotha from Crawinkel on an August evening in 1991. I recall vividly racing the traing on the road behind to a suitable viewing spot. Hearing the frequent hooting of the Ferkeltaxi's horn in the distance, it became necessary to abandon the bike and run across the field to get on the sunny side of the train by running across the track. Unfortunately I tripped over in the grass and out spilled my pocket Olympus, springing open , thus losing a few photos. Delayed by this mishap, I had even less time to get into position with a Pentax camera loaded with slide film such that the train was already passing by the time I had set up.
