Description
Ελληνικά: Λίμνη_Φενεού, ένα οροπέδιο στο Νομό_Κορινθίας, Πελοπόννησος, Ελλάδα (καρστικο φαινομένων σε μια γεωλογική λεκάνη). Καθε 4-5 χρονια, οταν οι μεγαλες ποσοτητες νερου συσσωρευτηκαν η μπλοκαριστηκαν, υπηρχε κατακρατηση νερου. Οταν η ποσοτητα του νερου, ηταν πολυ μεγαλη, διμιουργηθηκαν λιμνες.

English: Polje Fenoes, a plateau in 720 m, Prefecture Corinthia. The plateau has no natural surface water outlet, which is a relatively frequent geological phenomenon in Karstbasins (island Peloponnese in Greece).

Two small streams, Olvios and Doxa (Όλβιος, Δόξας) empty into the polje. When precipitation of winters is exceptionally rich, the polje is partly flooded, a temporary lake may result even nowadays, when the capacity of the three ponors is insufficient or the ponors, or their subsurface waterways, are blocked.

Up to the beginning of the twenties century the polje rather was a lake than a ground for agriculture.

Deutsch: Polje Feneos, eine Hochebene in 720m, im Department Korinthia (Peloponnes). Die Hochebene wird ausschließlich über Gräben und mehrere Ponore entwässert, eine relativ häufige geologische Erscheinung in Karstbecken des nordöstlichen Peloponnes, Griechenland.
In besonders niederschlagsreichen Wintern werden Teile der Polje nass. Früher war ein temporärer See sogar normal, weil die Kapazität der Ponore und unterirdischen Wasserwege nicht ausreichte oder Verstopfungen vorlagen.
