| Description |
English: Felin Newydd Falls The dam in the background is the last stage of the Rheidol Hydro-electric scheme which covers about 60 square miles. Very careful regulation allows just a slither of water to run over the weir - a knife-edge of slate. The provides an adequate flow of water to the lower reaches of the Rheidol.
On the far right is a piece of stonework to symbolise the 'ever watchful poacher'. |
