Français : Theodoxus fluviatilis (ou Nérite des rivières) ici photographié (en aout 2016) dans une zone active d'encroutement minéral (d'origine algale et ou bactérienne) dans la rivière "Sèvre niortaise", dans une partie peu profonde et bien éclairée, au lieu dit "Pont romain d'Azay-le-Brûlé" (France).
Sur ces encroûtements des gammares et de nombreux w:Theodoxus peuvent être observés en train de se nourrir. Cette section du cours d'eau est riche en zones d'encroutement qui s'y forment généralement à partir de tapis horizontaux de mousses aquatiques (bryophytes) ou de tapis verticaux de Marchantiophyta. Certains encroutements épais se sont formés sur du fil de pêche, il sont donc récents. Remarque : Aucun encroûtement très épais (de plus de quelques cm d'épaisseur) n'est observé sur les piles du pont médiéval ni sur des roches a priori anciennes, ce qui laisse penser que le phénomène est récent. Autre remarque : les encroutements ne se sont pas sur les plombs de pêche (toxiques et écotoxiques) ni - semble-t-il sur certaines roches ni sur les morceaux de bois morts (à confirmer par une observation plus attentive). Les coquilles de theodoxus sont parfois recouverts d'encroutements (jusqu'à plus de 1 mm d'épaisseur). Depuis quelques années, le cours d'eau est également densément colonisé par des corbicules, probablement au détriment des unionidae (grandes moules d'eau douce) English: Theodoxus fluviatilis here photographed in a mineral encrustation active area (algal and or bacterial origin) photographed (in August 2016) on the bottom of the river "Sèvre Niortaise" in a shallow and well lit place, called "Roman Bridge of Azay-le-Brûlé "(France).
On these crusts various invertebrates, including gammares and many w:Theodoxus can be observed. This section of the river is rich in crusting areas that typically form it from horizontal carpet aquatic of mosses (bryophyta) or vertical carpet of Marchantiophyta. Note: Not very thick crust (more than a few cm thick) are found on the battery or the medieval bridge on rocks a priori old, suggesting that the phenomenon is recent. Another note: the crusts are not on lead sinkers (metal toxic and Ecotoxical) neither on some rocks or on pieces of dead wood (to be confirmed by more attentive observations). |
