Description
English: From Katarina workhus in Stockholm in 1881. The poorhouses in the cities were more orderly than those on the countryside, but on the other hand, the freedom of the inmates was severly restricted.
Svenska: Från Katarina fattighus i Stockholm år 1881. Det rådde bättre ordning i städernas fattighus än i landsbygdens fattigstugor, men istället var hjonens frihet starkt beskuren.
