Description

O Farol do Cabo da Roca está localizado no ponto mais ocidental da Europa "... onde a terra se acaba e o mar começa". É um local extraordinário com as ondas a rebentarem dezenas de metro abaixo das altas arraibas onde ficam o farol e o miradouro. É ponto de peregrinação dos «motards» portuguesese ao domingo de manhã. O farol começou a ser construído em 1758, embora só tenha começado a funcionar em 1772. Sofreu bastantes alterações em meados do século XIX, passando a ser automatizado em 1980.
