Summary
[edit]DescriptionFactory or warehouse across the street from a multi-family residential building.jpg |
English: Horizontal, black and white photograph showing a three-story factory or warehouse across the street from a two-story multi-family residential building. The factory has large windows and a fire-escape on the side of the building. The residence is a two-story brick building, probably an apartment building, and has a small porch. A small poster with a light background and a cross in the center is displayed in one of the windows, possibly a Red Cross Service Flag given out during World War I. A cobblestone street runs through the foreground and two pedestrians can be seen. Original envelope was labeled as "Zoning/use restrictions", possibly indicating that the photograph was used to demonstrate zoning violations or the need for further use restrictions. See folder fP0197-S02-00046 for a print matching this negative. Title: Factory or warehouse across the street from a multi-family residential building. |
