English: This is a facsimile of pages of the Dresden Codex made by the German geographer and explorer Alexander von Humboldt. This is the first reproduction of any of its pages ever published, though he wrongly identified the manuscript to be Aztec, as it is actually Maya.
The reproduction was published for the first time in the second volume of his book, published in 1816, Vues dés cordillères, et monumens des peuples indigènes de l'Amérique. The first volume, published in 1810, contains a reproduction of more pages.Español: Esto es un facsímil de páginas del Códice Dresde hecho por el geógrafo y explorador alemán Alexander von Humboldt. Esta es la primera reproducción de cualquiera de sus páginas publicada, aunque erróneamente identificó al manuscrito como azteca, siendo en realidad maya.
