Festival « Montréal en lumière », édition 2020, Quartier des spectacles, Montréal.

Description de l’œuvre : Fabuloscopes : Faites tourner les Fabuloscopes pour voir leur histoire prendre vie! Les Fabuloscopes sont des mécanismes inspirés des Zootropes et Praxinoscopes, jouets mis au point au 19ème siècle qui permettaient de comprendre l’image animée. Le principe mécanique et optique est revisité avec de la technologie. Les visiteurs sont invités à faire tourner le volant, seul ou collectivement. Une fois que le volant est lancé, les images successives se transforme en animation fluide grâce à l’effet lumineux du stroboscope. Ces animations reprennent des fables ou des contes très connus, réinterprétés pour laisser place à des valeurs plus contemporaines.
