Svenska: Helikopter 5B (HKP 5) var den svenska Försvarsmaktens typbeteckning på Hughes 269A och senare Hughes 269C/Schweizer 300C. Främst användes helikoptern till grundläggande flygutbildning, men skulle i händelse av krig bl.a. användas till leda indirekt eld samt transportera enstaka personer (s.k. sambandsflygning). Inom Försvarsmakten kallades ibland HKP 5B skämtsamt för 'pisskuren', med anspelning på hur liten den var.
Helikoptern tillverkades 1980 och importerades av Saab-Scania AB i Linköping samma år. Med civil registrering SE-HKZ hyrdes den ut till armén fram till maj 1982, fortfarande i civil målning. Helikoptern avregistrerades den 1 mars 1982 samtidigt som den inköptes och godkändes i armén som HKP 5B med serienummer 05221 och kod 21. Den 17 december 2003 överlämnades helikoptern till Flygvapenmuseum. |
