Description
Français : Armand GAUTEUR est né le 22 janvier 1890 à Grez-en-Bouëre (Mayenne). Marié à Stéphanie VEILLERAND, il exerçait la profession d'employé de bureau. Il a été recruté comme caporal au 80e Régiment d'Infanterie d'Orléans (classe 1910 ; matricule de corps n° 06103 ; matricule de recrutement n° 2916). Il est mort à Tahure (Marne) le 28 ou le 30 octobre 1915. Porté disparu, sa femme Stéphanie GAUTEUR, née VAREILLAUD, et sa famille n'ont pas eu immédiatement connaissance de la date exacte de sa mort et du lieu de son inhumation. Ils ont donc entrepris des recherches auprès des camarades de tranchée d'Armand et de l'administration militaire. La tombe a finalement été retrouvée, mais la date de décès mentionnée sur la croix ne correspond pas à celle fournie par l'administration. Adrien GAUTEUR (peut-être le frère d'Armand) appartenait au 131e Régiment d'Infanterie (matricule n° 4055).
