Description
English: Stonington, CT, April 6, 2010 -- Joe Bragaw, Director of Public Works (l) conferring with FEMA PA Specialist Justin Ratti (c) and other members of a joint local, state, and federal PDA team (r) and a local media crew in the basement the flood damaged Stonington Town Hall. Immediate mitigation efforts (minimizing further damages) such as removing wet wall-boards and damaged flooring, can be seen here. Damage assessment is one of the first steps in helping a community recover from a disaster. FEMA/Mike Moore
