Description
English: LaPlace, La., October 8, 2005 - Ashley Kusick (Right) and Dan Waldman (2nd from right), members of the "Teach For America" program that places new teachers in inner city and low-income area schools, were left without jobs in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina struck the city. Hired by FEMA, they are now at the LaPlace Disaster Recover Center, 160 Belle Terre, and in training to become DRC managers. Win Henderson / FEMA
