Description
English: PORT HERA NAVY BASE, Timor-Leste (January 26, 2013) Chief Machinery Technician Danny Dupepe, assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Training Branch, displays proper hose handling techniques to members of the Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL). The subject matter exchange occured during the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Timor-Leste exercise. CARAT is a series of annual, bilateral maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
