| Description | Two Vought F8U-2 Crusader fighters of fighter squadron VF-91 Red Lightnings on the catapult of the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61) in 1960. VF-91 was assigned to Carrier Air Group Nine (CVG-9) during the deployment from 6 Feb 1960 to 30 Aug 1960 to the Western Pacific. VF-91 was redesignated VF-194 on 1 Aug 1963. |
