Description
English: U.S. Navy Cmdr. Robert Loughran, commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 147 "Argonauts", lands aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) in a Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet (BuNo 166437) in the Gulf of Oman. Loughran completed his 1,000th carrier arrested landing aboard the Nimitz. VFA-147 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the Nimitz for a deployment to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean since 30 March 2013.
