Description
English: A U.S. Marine Corps McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 312 "Checkerboards" launches from the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) in the Gulf of Oman. VMFA-312 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3) aboard the Harry S. Truman for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean starting 22 July 2013.
