Description
English: Exteriors of Old Ralong Monastery alias Karma Raptenling Monastery The 4th Chhogyal Gyurmed Namgyal (whose reign commenced from 1717 to 1733), built the old Ralong monastery in the year 1730 A.D. after returning from Tibet. The monastery was later rebuilt with bigger size as the earlier one became old and comparatively small to accommodate the increasing number of monks.
