Photograph of an exterior view of a girls' school in Mexico, ca.1900. The "Esquela de niñas" was founded in 1891 according the date printed over the main door of the 1-story blocky building. There is a domed clock ("6:55") tower over the entry. The front of the school is enclosed by a fence. About a dozen little girls move about in the dirt street in front. A wagon is visible at left beside the school.
