| Description |
English: The figure illustrates Ewald Hering's opponent color theory. The illustration from his work "Grundzüge der Lehre vom Lichtsinn" (1920) served as a model. The colors printed there do not correspond completely to his theory for technical reasons, as one can already read from a note in the work itself (p. 42). Therefore, the colors used in this file should be taken as illustrative only, the actual colors are not known.
Deutsch: Die Abbildung illustriert Ewald Herings Oppenten-Farbentheorie. Als Vorlage diente die Abblidung aus seinem Werk "Grundzüge der Lehre vom Lichtsinn" (1920). Die dort abgedruckten Farben entsprechen aus technischen Gründen nicht ganz seiner Theorie, wie man aus schon aus eine Anmerkung in dem Werk selbst ablesen kann (S. 42). Man sollte daher die in dieser Datei verwendeten Farben nur illustrativ auffassen, die tatsächlichen Farben sind nicht bekannt. |
