Deutsch: Eva Maria Reiner, geboren am 14. Juni 1919 in Frankfurt am Main; gestorben am 23. Januar 1999 in Zollikon, Kanton Zürich, Schweiz. Die zweitälteste Tochter von Dr. Paul Reiner (1886–1932) und Anna Sara Reiner (1891–1972), geborene Hochschild, wuchs zunächst in Wickersdorf bei Saalfeld im Thüringer Wald auf. Ab Mai 1925 wurde die Grundschülerin im Loog auf der Nordseeinsel Juist unterrichtet. Ab dem 20. April 1929 war Renate Reiner Schülerin der Sexta des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer auf der Nordseeinsel Juist. Nach viereinhalb Jahren ging sie offiziell zum 1. Oktober 1933 von dem Internat ab, wurde von NS-Insulanern genötigt, die Insel aufgrund ihrer jüdischen Abstammung zusammen mit ihren drei Schwestern und ihrer Mutter zu verlassen. Zudem sollten sämtliche Mädchen das Internat verlassen, weil die Nationalsozialisten weder eine Fortsetzung der Koedukation noch ein Zusammenleben von Mädchen und Jungen innerhalb eines Internats wollten. Auf Juist gab es keine andere weiterführende Schule als die SaM, auch deshalb war ein Verlassen der Insel unvermeidlich. Das hier vorliegende Portraitfoto entstand auf dem Areal der Schule am Meer im Loog auf Juist. |
