Description
Svenska: Eva Maria Flachséen, född Åkerman (1741-1821) avbildad i halvfigur med mörkt hår under svart hatt, klädd i blåviolett klänning med hög vit spetskrage och vit sjal, i bakgrunden landskapsvy.

Signerad och daterad C F v Breda pinxit 1810, olja på duk fäst på masonit, 71 x 61,5 cm.

Proveniens: Murbeckska Stiftelsen, Stockholm.

Litteratur: Emil Hultmark, Carl Fredrik von Breda, Stockholm 1915, omnämnda i verkförteckningen på sidan 190, som nummer 407 och 408.

Arkiv: Stockholms stadsarkiv, Murbeckska stiftelsen, Donationshandlingar med register SE/SSA/2269A/F3/3, 1805-1848.

Ur handlingar angående S J Flachséens gåvobrev och grav 1836, testamente 1842, är följande nedtecknat; "Till Murbecks Inrättning för fattiga flickors uppfostran, gifver jag......två Porträtter af mina älskade Föräldrar samt ett af min afledne Broder, hvilka Trenne Portraitter äro målade af Professorn och Riddaren C. F. von Breda."

Enligt gåvobrevet donerar Samuel Jacob Flachséen pengar till Murbeckska Stiftelsen, samt porträtten av sina föräldrar Eva Maria och Jacob Flachséen samt porträttet av sin yngre avlidne broder (katalognr. 327). Enligt verkförteckningen sammanställd av Emil Hultmark är dessa porträtt nummer 407 och 408.
