Ehrung in der Düsseldorfer Turbinenhalle: NRW-Klimaschutzminister Johannes Remmel zeichnete heute gemeinsam mit der EnergieAgentur.NRW nordrhein-westfälische Kommunen und Kreise mit dem European Energy Award (EEA) aus, die sich besonders um Klimaschutz und Nachhaltigkeit bemüht haben. Die EnergieAgentur.NRW organisiert das EEA-Verfahren und vergibt den Award. Insgesamt 21 Städte und Gemeinden sowie zwei Kreise erhielten die Auszeichnung – sieben davon erhalten den EEA in Gold. Insgesamt nehmen in NRW rund 115 Kommunen am kommunalen Energiemanagementverfahren EEA der EnergieAgentur.NRW teil.
