European Eagle Owl

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: European Eagle Owl This magnificent creature is part of the falconry display at the Shakespeare's Birthplace trust display in the grounds of Mary Arden's house at Wilmcote. Although many legends and myths surround the wonderfully wise looking birds the reality is unfortunately that the owl is only slightly less "intellectually challenged" than your average domestic chicken! All the same one would not wish to argue with those razor sharp claws and beak.
