Description

A Malinese Air Force helicopter departs here June 8 as U.S. Air Force Airmen from 352nd Special Operations Group assemble their MH-53 Pave Low helicopters during exercise Flintlock 05. During this year's multi-national exercise, Mali joined the United States in a series of military training scenarios conducted throughout the Trans-Saharan region of Africa. The exercise concentrates on ground and air operations, land navigation, human rights training and security operations. Other participating countries include Algeria, Senegal, Mauritania, Niger and Chad.
