Etablissements Alfred Bertsch

Le « Grand Hall » ou centrale thermique fut construit en 1911 pour l’installation d’un générateur électrique diesel avec une dynamo de 100 CV. Le rez-de-chaussée est haut de plafond avec une grande porte voûtée. L’accès aux combles s’effectue par un escalier en colimaçon en fer.

Ancienne usine à Papier Héliographique, fondée par Alfred Bertsch en 1880 et construite en 1884. Elle a été exploitée jusqu'en 1972. Dans cette usine il a exploité un brevet permettant de reproduire des documents grâce à l'action du soleil (papier héliographique).
