En 1907, a Lola Mora le confiaron las estatuas de los presidentes de las primeras asambleas constituyentes argentinas (entre ellos, Carlos de Alvear) con destino al edificio del Congreso. En 1912, las estatuas fueron retiradas y distribuidas en cuatro provincias.
