Español: En la Ciudad de Taxco se encuentra la estatua de José de la Borda mejor conocido como El Rey de la Plata. Él amansó una inmensa fortuna que después donó para edificios que ahora dan el aspecto actual de la Cd. de Taxco. La estatua se encuentra junto a la catedral de Santa Prisca.
Todo el lugar es un verdadera joya de arquitectura virreinal. La plaza de alrededor es muy colorida y bulliciosa donde existen numerosos callejones llenos de negocios de artesanías y artículos de plata. English: In Taxco city we found a statue of José de la Borda better known as the King of Silver. He made a huge fortune that later donated for buildings and now give the current appearance of Taxco. The statue stands next to the cathedral of Santa Prisca.
The whole place is a real jewel of colonial architecture. The square around is very colorful and bustling and have numerous craft shops and silver shops. |
