Description
English: The Essex County Courthouses in Salem, Massachusetts as they appeared before 1887. The courthouse at right was built in 1841 and designed by Richard Bond of Boston, that at left was designed in 1861 by Enoch Fuller of Salem, who died the same year. The 1861 courthouse was extensively rebuilt before it was thirty years old.
