Description
Eesti: Esimese luteriusu- jutlustaja vastuvõtt rae poolt Tallinnas. Pidulik maal kujutab jutlustaja, Stade linnast pärit endise munga Johann Lange vastuvõttu Tallinna magistraadi poolt 1523. aastal. Kuigi ajaloost inspireeritud, on maalil kujutatud situatsiooni, tegelaste riietuse ja ümbritsevate hoonete osas vabalt ringi käidud. Osa üldiselt tuttavaid maalil kujutatud detaile on pärit hilisemast ajast, kui maalil kujutatud sündmus.
