Description
Català: Escut històric d'ús immemorial oficial d'Alcalà de Xivert (Baix Maestrat, País Valencià): «Escut quadrilong de punta redona. En camp d'atzur, un castell del seu color d'un homenatge, alçat sobre un talús, maçonat i aclarit de sable, acostat a destra d'un estel de plata de vuit puntes, i a sinistra, d'un calze amb una hòstia, tot d'argent, i sobremuntades les tres figures de sengles creus de Montesa de gules. Al timbre, corona reial oberta, tradicional al Regne de València.» Rehabilitat per Resolució de 22 de juny de 2020 (DOGV núm. 8846 de 30/06/2020). Els colors són els que hi apareixen al annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig. Disseny basat en [1], al seu torn basat en l'escut que hi ha a l'església.

En campo de azur, un castillo de su color de un homenaje, alzado sobre un talud, mazonado y aclarado de sable, acostado a diestra de una estrella de ocho puntas, y a siniestra de un cáliz con una hostia, todo de plata, y surmontadas las tres figuras de sendas cruces de Montesa de gules. Por timbre, corona real abierta, tradicional en el Reino de Valencia.» Rehabilitado por Resolución de 22 de junio de 2020 (DOGV núm. 8846 de 30/06/2020). Los colores son los que aparecen en el anexo IV del Decreto 72/2015, de 15 de mayo. Diseño basado en [2], a su vez basado en el escudo que hay en la iglesia.
