Català: Escut d'Agost (l'Alacantí, País Valencià). Proposta de blasonament: «Escut quadrilong de punta redona. En camp de gules, una ona vertical d'atzur acostada a dreta i a esquerra de dues torres aclarides de sable i, maçonada i torrejada la destra, la sinistra demolida, i les lletres A a destra i T a sinistra. Al timbre, una corona reial oberta». L'escut està dibuixat amb la forma quadrilonga de punta redona i la corona que hi apareix en els annexos II dels decrets 116/1994, de 21 de juny, i 72/2015, de 15 de maig, del Govern Valencià. Els colors són els que hi apareixen a l'annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig.
Español: Escudo de Agost (Alicante, España). Propuesta de blasonado: «Escudo cuadrilongo de punta redonda. En campo de gules, una onda vertical de azur acostada a derecha y a izquierda de dos torres aclaradas de sable y, mazonada y donjonada la diestra, la siniestra demolida, y las letras A a diestra y T a siniestra. Por timbre, una corona real obierta». El escudo está dibujado con la forma cuadrilonga de punta redonda y la corona que aparece en los anexos II de los decretos 116/1994, de 21 de junio, y 72/2015, de 15 de mayo, del Gobierno Valenciano. Los colores son los que se indican en el anexo IV del Decreto 72/2015, de 15 de mayo.
