Español: Escudo de San Isidro del Guadalete: Escudo: Español, cortado y con bordura. Primer cuartel de plata, con cinco ondas de azur, cuyas líneas están trazadas con ondulaciones. Segundo cuartel de sinople, centrada, en oro, un ánfora romana con dos asas. Bordura de gules, de anchura un sexto del ancho total del escudo, con la lectura "TAUR", en oro, en su parte superior. Al timbre Corona Real española cerrada.
Según la Memoria preceptiva que integra el expediente, el primer cuartel del escudo es de plata con cinco ondas de azur, distintivo otorgado por el rey Alfonso X al municipio de Jerez de la Frontera del que depende la EATIM San Isidro del Guadalete. En el segundo cuartel, de sinople para simbolizar la esperanza y la fertilidad de sus tierras, se sitúa, centrada y de oro, una figura artificial que representa un ánfora romana hallada en los yacimientos arqueológicos del lugar. Este ánfora esmaltada en oro simboliza la prosperidad de la zona desde antiguo, al usarse, probablemente, como recipiente para envasar el vino de los viñedos jerezanos. La bordura, de gules, lleva la lectura "TAUR", iniciales de "Titti Aurelii", probablemente el dueño de los viñedos o del alfar, según se deduce de estas inscripciones con las que aparecen marcadas las vasijas. |
