Español: El campo de sinople y el aspa con el sable y el fusil representan a la Guardia
Civil, ya que el verde es el color tradicional de la Benemérita, y las armas hacen referencia a sus labores de vigilancia y seguridad. El campo de oro con el moral simboliza al moral centenario de la localidad. El jefe de gules con la cruz de Malta simboliza a la Orden de Malta, que tuvo la posesión de Quintanilla de las Carretas en el pasado. La banda blanca con las líneas negras simboliza al ferrocarril que pasaba por la localidad y a la estación de tren de que se disponía que tanta importancia tuvo para el pueblo.
