A cabeça e as lamelas separadas por sulcos profundos com as costas praticamente planas. A separação entre o proto-tórax e o élitro e entre eles é feita com um sulco simples formando uma cruz. No verso plano a figura de um leão em pé com a cauda curvada para cima. Escaravelhos semelhantes também são encontrados em Jericó e são datados dos Grupos IV-V.
