English: Coastal defense tower d'En Penjat, called Torre Stuart by the British at the time of their domination of Menorca. It was built by the British in 1789. It served to protect the entrance to the port of Mahon.
La torre de defensa costera d'En Penjat, llamada Torre Stuart por los británicos en la época de su dominación de Menorca. Fue construida por los ingleses en el año 1789. Servía para proteger la entrada del puerto de Mahón. De kustverdedigingstoren En Penjat, door de Britten Stuart toren genoemd. Het werd in 1789 gebouwd door de Engelsen tijdens hun bezetting van Menorca. Het diende om de toegang tot de haven van Mahon te beschermen. |
