Actividad volcánica en el Sabancaya Durante una visita al valle del Colca, el ministro Ministro de Defensa del Perú pudo observar, en un sobrevuelo, las columnas de gases y ceniza que se levantan desde el cráter del Sabancaya, que según el Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP) tienen una altura de aproximadamente 3,200 metros. Además, de acuerdo a los reportes de esta entidad científica, el volcán tiene actualmente una actividad explosiva de niveles moderados, con un promedio de 44 explosiones por día en la última semana. La dispersión de gases y ceniza alcanza un radio mayor a los 40 kilómetros. |
