Summary
[edit]DescriptionEriboll - Strath More road - geograph.org.uk - 1316292.jpg |
English: Eriboll - Strath More road The road passes beneath Creag an t-Silidh, nearing the climb of the ridge between Loch Eribol and Loch Hope.
The road was quietly dropped from the county roads, and remains an example of an early 20th century Highland road complete with ford and variable surface quality. The road is worth a visit for the scenery, especially the views of Loch Hope. At one time both this road, and the north coast road both needed ferries or fords to cross the river at either end of Loch Hope. |
