Deutsch: de:Alexander Dahl machte die erste Aufnahme der Erdkrümmung, aufgenommen aus 11.300 m Höhe. Sie entstand am 31. August 1933 um 14:00 Uhr aus dem offenen Korb des Freiballons Bartsch von Sigsfeld. Der Ballon wurde speziell als Höhenballon mit 9.800 m³ für Wasserstoff-Füllung gebaut.
English: The first image showing the earth's curvature was taken by en:Alexander Dahl at a height of 11300m on 31 August 1933 from the high performance (9.800 cbm) hydrogen gas balloon Bartsch von Sigsfeld.
