English: Entrance to Glencorse Old Kirk The view of the entrance driveway to Glencorse Old Kirk.
The Old Kirk is up the hill beyond the gate in the centre of the picture. The sign on the gate bears the word "Private" followed by the information that entry can be allowed only by way of prior arrangement. The building on the left is the gatehouse to Glencorse House, which together with the Old Kirk forms part of the curtilage of Glencorse House. It is possible to visit the Old Kirk by simply writing, emailing, telephoning, or communicating through the website Glencorsehouse.com. The present owners are more than happy to show people who have a genuine interest around the Old Kirk at no charge. |
