Summary
[edit]DescriptionEntrance Gate to Bitholmes and Wantley Dragon Woods - geograph.org.uk - 860888.jpg |
English: Entrance Gate to Bitholmes and Wantley Dragon Woods Situated on the A6102 between Wharncliffe Side and Deepcar. The sign says Welcome ... but these must be the most inaccessible woods in the world with absolutely 'No Parking' or 'Public Transport Stops' within reasonable walking distance. I managed to take this picture from my car whilst waiting in a road works traffic queue! Still it probably makes for a nice quiet walk! And note the Dragon Woods are some miles away!! |
